BESIKTAS SIGNED MARIO GOMEZ ON A SEASON-LONG LOAN FROM FIORENTINA
After selling
Demba Ba to Chinese football club, Shanghai Shenhua for 13.5 million Euros,
Beşiktaş found their new striker. Beşiktaş signed German striker Mario Gomez on
a season-long loan from Fiorentina with an option to buy. The 30 year old
striker will try his best for Beşiktaş.

Garcia began his career with Stuttgart in 2003. His team won Bundesliga in
2007. After his fantastic performance, he moved to FC Bayern Munich in 2009. He
reached his biggest successes with Bayern. He won Bundesliga in 2010 and 2013,
he also won Champions League in 2013. Then he couldn’t do his best because of
his injuries. He moved to Fiorentina in 2013 but he could only play 29 games in
two seasons. And now, he came to Beşiktaş for a one year loan. He will wear the
jersey number 33.

Manchester City defeated Chelsea FC 3-0 in the second week of the Premier League. The match was played in Etihad Stadium. Last year’s champion Chelsea FC had lost 2 points in the first week.
